Neonatal and Paediatric Critical Care Seminar

About this event

Hosted by the Critical Care Stream within The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network, the annual Neonatal and Paediatric Critical Care Seminar is an opportunity for nursing colleagues from across NSW to connect and learn about current practices in the management of acute paediatric presentations.

In collaboration with clinicians from Emergency Departments, Paediatric Intensive Care Units, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Grace), Newborn & paediatric Emergency Transport Service (NETS), NSW Poisons Information Centre (PIC) and Cardiac Services, the program aims to support regional and rural healthcare networks by providing practical education and a chance to reflect on our shared experiences.

This year, we’re committed to bringing an interactive online experience to our neonatal and paediatric healthcare community. We look forward to meeting you and working with you all as partners in best healthcare outcomes for babies, children and their families.

Who should attend?

The seminar is tailored for nursing staff working in emergency departments, special care nurseries and paediatric wards in hospitals across New South Wales. The program would also benefit staff in disciplines such as paramedics, medical practitioners, allied health, educators, clinical nurse consultants and health managers.
