Schools are advised to refer to their education sector related policies and/or guidelines along with NSW WH&S legislation.
NSWAEP in collaboration with schools can:
- Assist in developing individual health care plans
- Policy and procedure planning and implementation
- Support and follow up after any incidents of anaphylaxis.
- Best practice guidelines for anaphylaxis prevention and management in Schools - Allergy Aware
- Accreditation fee

Course Information
All our educators are registered nurses with post-graduate qualifications in allergy nursing and clinical experience in paediatric allergy. They also have extensive experience in the provision of anaphylaxis education. Our educators take part in ongoing professional development within the allergy department and through the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) The NSW Anaphylaxis Education Program has been providing Anaphylaxis education to the education sectors in NSW for over 10 years.
