Course Description

We provide Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) Approved Anaphylaxis Management training.

ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis management training is available for Children’s Service staff including OOSH staff through NSWAEP.

NSWAEP in collaboration with ECEC can:

  • Assist in developing individual health care plans
  • Policy and procedure planning and implementation
  • Support and follow up after any incidents of anaphylaxis.

Each participant will receive a certificate at the completion of the course.

Course Information

1 Quality training

All our educators are registered nurses with post-graduate qualifications in allergy nursing and clinical experience in paediatric allergy. They also have extensive experience in the provision of anaphylaxis education. Our educators take part in ongoing professional development within the allergy department and through the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) The NSW Anaphylaxis Education Program has been providing Anaphylaxis education to the education sectors in NSW for over 10 years.
