Hosted by The Children's Hospital at Westmead, the annual Paediatric Update returns on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th November 2024. The two-day conference will cover a wide range of topics to update knowledge and skills for the General Paediatrician.
Comprising a comprehensive program of clinical updates and interactive sessions, our focus this year is to offer participants practical advice that can be implemented in their daily practice of treating children and young people.
2024 highlights
- Over 20 mainstage presentations delivered in person, covering the latest updates in infectious diseases, endocrinology, cardiology, paediatric surgery, gastroenterology, child protection and much more!
- 4 interactive workshops providing practical and actionable education that can be readily utilised in your clinical practice.
- Infectious Diseases "symposium" covering the latest in RSV infection and vaccination, post-COVID respiratory infections and mycoplasma pneumonia.
- 'Ask the Expert' session led by specialists in their field, highlighting assessment and management of children with respiratory, gynaecology and dermatology problems.
- Evening case discussions accompanied by drinks and nibbles (in-person only).
- Streaming option is available to offer flexibility to our remote attendees.
- 3-month access to recordings available to registered attendees (subject to presenter approval).
